I had a very boring weekend. I stayed home, most of the time. There isn’t much to do. I don’t know what I should type about today. There isn’t much that is really worth typing. It’s Tuesday, May 13th. It is 12:36. It’s 12:37 now! Another minute has passed. I heard lots of typing. But are they really typing their blogs? I think some of them are doing some other stuff. It’s 12:38 now. I heard Maggie talking to Alice. Maggie told me a joke, about someone killing Mr. Milk. The answer is green bean. The joke is so cold. It’s snowing. I sprayed water on Howard today! It felt so good. It’s 12:40. I forgot to type 12:39. Two minutes has passed. It’s 12:41! Wow, I typed two sentences every minute! It is so cool. I’m waiting. I’m waiting. Only thirty seconds has passed. Then another ten. Another five. Another ten. It’s 12:42!! Alice said I typed so many. She’s laughing now. Alice told me to set up a facebook account. Michael imitating a caterpillar with his fingers. Ian is playing with his mouth, now typing again. James is looking at other people’s blogs. Peggy is staring at the screen, leaning her head on her hand. Rita is typing her blog. Andy is putting his hand on his chin. Tiffany now stood up and went to talk to Peggy. She’s walking back. Ian is rubbing his eyes. Now he’s scratching. I can’t see Melissa, hiding behind the screen. Maxine is wearing Maggie’s cloths. Howard is sitting next to Maxine. It is too far away, and I couldn’t see what he was typing or doing. Tiffany now looked at Peggy. Jonathan is sitting next to Tiffany. Tim and Lino are both staring at the screen. Lino is typing some things. She is looking at the screen while she is typing. She can type without looking, or look only once in a while. Gorden is wearing his headphone, and smiling strangely at Vincent. He is looking at me now. He is putting his fingers inside his mouths. Alice typed one line! She forgot to capitalize her “T” in taipei. Maggie is busy typing. I don’t know what Michael is doing. Maxine is writing something. She changed the T. Kyle has spiky hair. Tim is laughing at his screen. Now he is talking to Jonathan. Howard is muttering to himself. Maggie only typed six sentences. Alice typed two. Her title is “Taipeii”, and she spelled it wrong. Now she corrected it. It is 12:51 now. Maggie is asking if there is a limit to how many words we can type. Peggy is now talking to Tiffany. Richard is wearing his headphone, but I don’t know what he was doing. He is now looking at me, and is smiling strangely. Alice is competing with me who type Chinese faster. They are so mean!! Let’s see who type English faster. Ready get set go. One two three four five six seven eight nine ten. I type faster. She is still on seven. Peggy is now talking to Alice about some handsome guys. Tim is holding hands with Jonathan. Richard is smiling again. Andy is looking down, like he is depressed. I think I will stop typing now. It is 12:56. I typed for more than fifteen minutes. I’m going to publish it now. I really am so boring.
I made a coat of arm for Lazio. Lazio is located in Italy, around that part near Rome. The Colosseum at the top is a famous place in Rome. The orange and the brown is the color of flag for Rome. The green, white, and red is the three colors in flag of Italy. The football court in the middle shows that football is important to Italy.
So far, I wrote forty two entries in my blog, including this one. Fourteen of them included pictures in them. Some of them included more than one picture. Fourteen of them are learning logs. The learning logs don’t include any pictures. It is about what I learned in my English classes. The rest of the blogs are week in reviews or somethings we did in computer class. We had to draw a picture of the feudal system. We put those pictures on the blogs. We also had links to many of the entries. Three to five of the entries had numbers in them, such as the one showing the combinations of Sean’s lock, and pi. There are also many entries that is about Mr. Hays.
Today, I learned a secret about this boy in our class. He sits in the front row Facing the white board, he sits on the third seat, counting from James (him included) toward the right. When we were in Phuket for our graduation trip, a girl who is closest to that boy’s right hand side sang a song saying, “In my heart, there is only him and no one else.” So, today, a yellow shirted boy went up to that girl, and told her that the boy she sang about had loved her back. I learned that there are some naive people in the world, who would accept anything that he heard. That person actually believed in what he heard. I am very surprised. I also learned that the boy MIGHT give the girl a birthday present, because her birthday is coming up. I also learned that he is a very shy kid. Afterward, that girl went and told the boy that everything is just a joke. It was because on that day, there is a special holiday. It happens to be on the first of April. When the boy heard this, he is very, very sad.
I learned that there are many ways to anger Mr. Hays. One of the easiest way is to say”I win you.” He will be so pissed off that he will tell you to hold three books on top of your head. Chuck tried it once. Mr. Hays became very angry and told Chuck to hold three books on top of his head. I want to see if it’s fun, so I said it on purpose. Mr. Hays got very pissed off. He told me to hold 5 books on top of my head! He is so mean to Chuck and me! After class, Mr. Hays is in the hallway. Chuck and I decided to walk up to him and say “I win you” in front of him. He doesn’t seem to hear. Anyway, we could anger him very easily, and this is one simple way. Maybe we should warn him that it won’t be very healthy to be angry all the time.

I learned that pi is an irrational number, which can’t be expressed in fractions. Some fractions will have repeating decimal places, such as one point one five one five one five… Other fractions can become zero point one four six eight five seven one four six eight five seven one four six eight five seven… However, pi could not be expressed in fraction form. I learned that the first one hundred and eight digits after the decimal place is four one five nine two six five three five eight nine seven nine three two three eight four six two six four three three eight three two seven nine five zero two eight eight four one nine seven one six nine three nine nine three seven five one zero five eight two zero nine seven four nine four four five nine two three zero seven eight one six four zero six two eight six two zero eight nine nine eight six two eight zero three four eight two five three four two one one seven zero six seven nine eight two one four eight zero eight six. Other irrational numbers that I learned are square roots. I learned that square root of two is approximately one point four one four two one three five six two three seven three zero nine five zero four. I learned that the square root of three is approximately one point seven three two zero five zero eight zero seven five six. An approximation for the square root of five is two point two three six zero six seven nine seven seven four nine.
This is a manor in medieval Europe. The landlord lived in the castle at the top. There is a moat surrounding the castle. The vassals and serfs lived in the little houses below the castle. The vassals own the land which they grow crops. The green area is the land, and the yellow part is the corn. There are trees surrounding the manor. People use the water from the moat to irrigate their crops.
This week, I learned that the shuttlecock in badminton travels in a strange way. When you hit at a forty-five degree angle, it will fall at a steeper angle than that. When the shuttlecock leave the racket, air resistance will cause the drag. This will slow the speed of the shuttlecock. Gravity will then pull the shuttlecock down at a steep angle. Sometimes, when the starting angle is very steep, it may even come down vertically. I also learned that the badminton can be the fastest traveling object hit with a racket in a sport. It can leave the racket with the speed of 332 kilometers per hour. This can be the same speed as the high speed rail in Taiwan. Because of the drag, there are many different kinds of way to hit the ball. We could slice it, and change the direction of the shuttlecock. Slicing the shuttlecock could also make it fall at a steeper angle. The shuttlecock will drop after it past the net. We could also slice the shuttlecock underneath. This will cause the shuttlecock to turn over. The shuttlecock won’t travel a far distance this way, so it will drop after it pass the net.
